Co-Founder / Speech-Language Pathologist

Trish Moreira is originally from Buffalo, New York and relocated to the Raleigh area in July of 2005. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences from the State University of New York at Geneseo and received her Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.

During her educational and professional career, Trish has had the opportunity to work with a variety of populations and disorders. She also has gained experience working as a speech-language pathologist in a variety of settings including hospitals, adult living facilities, rehabilitation centers, schools, daycares, and homes.

Before moving to North Carolina, Trish worked in a school for special needs children and gained ample experience working with children with autism and their families. She also believes in early detection and has a great deal of knowledge and experience in early intervention. In addition, Trish has sufficient training and experience working with preschool and school-age children who stutter.

Since moving to Raleigh, Trish has had the opportunity to professionally work with both children and adults with speech & language delays and cognitive & swallowing deficits. She enjoys working with individuals of all ages and their families. Trish is licensed by the board of North Carolina and has her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
